The history of our farm market began in the early 1970’s. Our father had a small plot of land and we raised two acres of strawberries and two acres of sweet corn. We sold the produce along the roadside with just a table. The money earned was to help the kids work their way through college.
As the kids graduated college and began their careers in the early 1980’s we expanded our operation to raising six acres of strawberries and six acres of sweet corn, we also built a small stand to sell out of it. By the early 1990’s we began raising vegetables and pumpkins for the fall season. A few years later we decided to focus more on the attention on the summer produce and fall activities so we back away from the strawberries. By the year 2000 we had added a greenhouse operation to the business and were offering school tours and pavilion rentals.
Now, we have a wide variety of fresh produce during the summer months and a great selection of decorations for fall.
